4×4 – Newbie Run

Join us on Sunday August 13, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. for a 4×4 vehicle run (newbie run) leaving from the Bobcaygeon area (exact location will be provided when you register). Space is extremely limited and you MUST be an Ontario Federation of 4 Wheel Drive Club member to attend this event. OF4WD memberships are NOT sold by TOR. All 4×4 vehicles types (trucks, SUVs) are welcome to join this run (see details below for specific vehicle requirements). You will be required to show PROOF OF INSURANCE and OF4WD membership to participate in this event. If you do not have these items you will be unable to participate.

This event is going to be focused on newer off-roaders. Be ready to go slow and help the newer wheeler learn the tricks of the trade.

Upon arrival we will have a quick ride briefing and drivers and passengers will be required to sign a participation liability waiver (ID REQUIRED to confirm you are who signed up). We will then be travelling a short distance to the trail-head where we will stop and air down our tires before setting out onto the trails.

Expect to be wheeling for 4-5 hours so pack a lunch and any other items you might require.

The trail we will be taking is rated as a “2+” by the OF4WD. Vehicle attending MUST HAVE: 4×4, front and rear recovery points (or be able to create a tow point using equipment brought by the driver).
